Our Story

Sustain Humanity Initiative

Sustain Humanity Initiative  is a non-profit organization formed to be service responsive to the needs of less-privileged, vulnerable Children, their families and communities.

The Organization is committed to addressing society’s ongoing gaps, working shoulder to shoulder with the beneficiaries, promoting resilience and ameliorating their challenges.

Promotion of sexual and reproductive health rights for adolescents, youth and women will be on SHI’s agenda for action.

Support and empower vulnerable communities, Children and adolescents with humanitarian initiatives (Education, Health, Economy) aimed at strengthening their capacity and enhancing their resilience.

Capacity Statement

Sustain Humanity Initiative has a team of eight well qualified members of the Coordinating Committee steering the work in Zambia. These individuals have diverse background with each one of them bringing on board a wealth of experiences in different fields including: organizational leadership, program management, finance, monitoring and evaluation, coordination, business, partnerships, strategic development skills among others.

This operational structure comprises the following: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and four committee members. In addition, there are other volunteers implementing activities on the ground in the four operational districts.
